Amoopi is a string of many smaller beaches, each with its own character. Just a short walk from the suites, you’ll find Votsalakia, a calm and shallow bay made for slow mornings by the water. For families, Big Amoopi offers wide sandy shores and shallow water, making it an ideal spot for kids to play. Head to Small Amoopi, where the sandy beach meets a cliff that’s become a favorite local spot for jumping into the sea.

If you’re looking for something quieter, head to the rocks of Kastelia Bay. The water there is exceptionally clear and still, a perfect spot for snorkeling and a quiet day.

When you want a change of pace, the main town of the island, Pigadia, is an easy 10-minute drive away. The road follows the coast, so you get the sea view the whole way down.

Here you can enjoy a morning coffee at the harbor, the local shops, or just a walk along the port to see the fishing boats. It has that classic Greek town feel, with plenty of spots for a late dinner or a drink by the water.
